Jazzcultural is a music room and café located at 349 W. 46th Street on “restaurant row” in the heart of Times Square. Jazzcultural is a tip-of-the-hat to Barry Harris and his “Jazz Cultural Theater,” which he operated in Chelsea in the 1980s and 1990s. The Jazz Cultural Theater was a combination performance space, social hang and school.

We dedicate our club to the spirit of Barry and his legacy. We are dedicated to jazz music and the jazz community. Our mission is to enrich the artistic culture of New York City and offer a comfortable, affordable space to make that happen.

Jazzcultural is brought to you by the same people who operate Smalls Jazz Club (183 W. 10th Street) and Mezzrow (163 W. 10th Street). Smalls has been a fixture of the New York City jazz scene for more than 30 years. Multiple generations of jazz musicians have cut their teeth at Smalls at the legendary jam sessions. Mezzrow is a gentle piano room just across the street and has sterling acoustic quality. Mezzrow presents the very best jazz pianists, guitarists, and vocalists in New York. Tickets for all shows at Smalls, Mezzrow and Jazzcultural are available at www.smallslive.com. Please also visit our extensive audio/video archive of past shows dating back to 2007.
